Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior pilates experience to join classes?

No experience is necessary! We offer classes for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. Our instructors will modify movements to meet your current fitness level and help you progress safely.

What should I wear to pilates classes?

Wear comfortable, form-fitting athletic wear that allows for full movement without restriction. Avoid baggy clothing that may interfere with proper form assessment. Pilates is done barefoot or with grip socks (available for purchase at the studio).

How often should I attend pilates classes to see results?

For optimal results, we recommend attending 2-3 classes per week consistently. Many of our clients notice improved posture and core strength within 4-6 weeks of regular practice, with more significant changes after 3 months.

Do I need to book classes in advance?

Yes, we recommend booking classes 24-48 hours in advance to secure your spot, as our classes fill up quickly. Private sessions require advance booking (minimum 48 hours notice).

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 12 hours notice for class cancellations and 24 hours notice for private session cancellations to avoid a late cancellation fee. Memberships include a limited number of late cancellations per month.

Is pilates suitable if I have injuries or physical limitations?

Pilates is excellent for rehabilitation and managing physical limitations when properly modified. Please inform us of any injuries, conditions, or limitations before your first class, and our specialized instructors will create a safe, effective program for you.
